I am so pleased to say that a stretched canvas reproduction of this painting will soon hang in the media center of Wilshire Park Elementary where young book lovers, authors, and artists gather. Mrs. Huninghake, Media Specialist & Story Loving Art Appreciating Extraordinaire (not completely her official title but could be!) and I collaborated to concieve the original idea for this work. This is especially sweet to me ~ having a piece of my art hanging in the media center of the school where I was the Art Specialist for 20 years. Here's to our youngest creatives ~ listening, reading, writing, creating, and letting their imaginations soar! And to the adults who share the joy of all that and more.
